专利说明:
Device for dispensing a predetermined amount of liquid from a tap Technical area The present invention relates to a device for dispensing a predetermined amount of liquid from a tap. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In restaurants and caterers (for indoor consumption), hygiene, speed of work and efficient use of ingredients and raw materials are important factors for the quality of prepared food and cost margins. Water is one of the most important raw materials in modern kitchens that is most often overlooked as a cost item. Due to the rather slow flow of water from domestic faucets and the large amounts of water required for cooking or as an ingredient in certain recipes, an amount of water is often measured by filling a bucket with a (too large) amount at the tap. water and then filling a container with a required amount of water from that bucket. Such a practice makes fast and accurate work possible, but leads to wastage of water. More water is wasted when the bucket is filled unattended at a tap mainly because of the time it takes to fill a bucket, time (perhaps the most valuable factor in restaurants and in-house caterers) that is usually more effective to spend on other tasks in the kitchen. BE2015 / 0187 EP 2 174 198 discloses a device for mounting on a tap and dispensing an amount of water equal to previously determined amounts of water. The disclosed device, however, does not offer the possibility of dispensing a certain amount of water required at a given time, but only allows dispensing of amounts of water previously dispensed by the device during a teach-in phase. Although it is useful for filling a bath, for example, such a device is not practical in kitchens where the amount of water required is highly dependent on the recipe and the amounts of a food to be prepared. Another important requirement for devices for use in kitchens and especially when connected to a tap is that the devices are easy to clean to meet the high hygiene requirements for kitchens and that the devices do not obstruct the space under the tap and make it easy to and rapid handling of filled and therefore heavy buckets and pots under the tap. In addition, a device for dispensing a predetermined amount of water for use in restaurants and caterers (for indoor consumption) must be accurate for both small volumes (cl) and large volumes (liters) in order to accurately follow recipes, especially for cakes. The foregoing shows that there remains a market need for compact, easy-to-clean and easy-to-operate devices for dispensing a tap. BE2015 / 0187 predetermined amount of water or other liquid without the need to closely monitor the release. Summary of the invention The present invention is defined in the appended independent claims. Preferred embodiments are defined in the dependent claims. Detailed _________ Description of a preferred embodiment Figures 1-6 show a schematic representation of a device according to the present invention for dispensing a predetermined amount of liquid from a tap. The device comprises a housing 1 comprising a fluid channel comprising an inlet portion 2 defining an inlet and an outlet portion 7 defining an outlet. The inlet and outlet both extend in the same direction, in particular substantially parallel to the plane of gravity when the device is correctly coupled to a tap. The inlet part 2 comprises coupling means 6 for releasably coupling the device to the outlet of a tap, said coupling means preferably being mounted to the device by means of a bushing that rotates freely relative to the inlet of the valve. BE2015 / 0187 fluid channel, so that the device can rotate around the tap outlet when mounted on it. The inlet of the fluid channel preferably has an inner diameter of at least 0.8, preferably at least 1 cm. The fluid channel is provided in the housing for defining a non-straight path defined by various sections between the inlet portion and the outlet portion. A first section of the fluid channel herein comprises a flow meter 3, while a second section of the fluid channel extends in a different direction or in a different sense than the first section comprises a valve 4, the flow meter and valve both being accommodated in the housing. The flow meter can be any type of meter for real-time measurement of the liquid flow, preferably tap water, through the fluid channel. Examples of flow meters include meters with piston or meters with rotary piston; pressure-based meters; optical flow meters; open channel flow meters; thermal mass flow meters; vortex flow meters; electromagnetic meters; ultrasonic flowmeters; coriolis flow meters and or laser / doppler flow meters. The flow meter comprises an electronic output unit with connecting piece for generating and sending a signal based on the measured amount of water. The valve is preferably a flip-flop type valve (bistable relay) characterized by two stable states (no current required to keep the valve in a stable state), in particular an open state where water can pass through the fluid channel BE2015 / 0187 flows and a closed state where the valve blocks the water flow through the fluid channel, the valve being switched from one stable state to the other stable state by a signal applied to its control input. It is clear that other types of valves can also be used in a device according to the invention, such as solenoid valves, hydraulic valves, ball valves, sliding valves, non-return valves, pressure reducing valves, relief valves, counterweight valves, pressure sequence valves, expansion valves ... The housing further comprises a power source, preferably a battery or series of batteries that are completely enclosed in the housing, thereby avoiding the use of cables protruding from the housing. In addition to the flow meter, valve and power source, the housing also includes a processor which is connected on the one hand to an input panel mounted in the housing and accessible (operable) from the outside thereof and on the other hand connected to the flow meter and the valve for operating of the valve based on the input from the input panel and the output generated by the flow meter. The input panel preferably comprises a plurality of push buttons or a capacitive screen through which the device can be programmed by entering an amount of water to be dispensed and then instructing the dispensing. For ease of use, it is preferred that the input panel provides the option of using it BE2015 / 0187 to enter the desired volume of water in centiliters, deciliters or liters. The input panel further preferably comprises a digit input for selecting a digit corresponding to the amount of water to be dispensed, a start and a stop button. Optionally, the housing may be equipped with a small loudspeaker coupled to the processor for generating an audio signal if the valve state changes from an open state to a closed state. According to the present invention, the housing is compact and has such dimensions that the ratio between the height H - measured in a direction in which the inlet and outlet portions of the fluid channel extend (i.e. in the direction of gravity when the device is correctly connected to a water tap is coupled) with respect to the maximum diameter D of the device in a direction perpendicular to the height direction between 0.5 and 1.5. The height of the device is preferably a maximum of 15 cm. The housing of the device is preferably made of a material with antibacterial properties such as plastic with TiCU dispersed therein or can be coated with a coating with antibacterial properties. The outer surface of the housing preferably has a surface roughness of at most 35 Ra, preferably at most 30 Ra, 25 Ra and most preferably at most 20 Ra, whereby thorough and easy cleaning is possible. Ra is the 'average roughness' specified in the ANSI / ASME BE2015 / 0187 standard B46.1-1985. The Ra value is an arithmetic average of the surface roughness measured by the pin movement of an instrument. The use of the device is simple and uncomplicated. In the inactive position, the valve of the device is in a closed state. For use, the device is coupled with its inlet to a water tap, preferably by means of a detachable connecting piece. Once connected, the tap is opened and water can flow freely into the fluid channel up to the valve. To dispense a predetermined amount of water, a user selects the mode centiliter, deciliter or liter and then enters the desired amount by pressing the number keys on the input panel. By pressing the start button, a signal is passed to the processor that activates the flow meter and a signal is created to operate the valve from a closed to an open state. Water begins to flow from the tap through the fluid channel to the outlet until the predetermined amount of water has passed the flow meter, thereby generating a signal directly or through the processor to the valve for closing the valve. Optionally, if the device comprises a small speaker, an audio signal is generated when the desired amount of tap water has been delivered to inform the user that the desired amount of water is available.
